Hello. I currently work in a PCU and we get a mix of all types of patients and take care of some very critical patients. I was just wondering if it is possible to move to the EP lab from a PCU or if ICU experience is always needed.
  2. I did only 12 qbank which is still a lot and all the qtrainers and I did awful on everything! My highest on the qtrainers was a 57% and my highest on a qbank was 61%.... awful so I was panicking but I took the test last week and passed!:) so I think it just matters how you tackle the questions
  3. Thank you so much! It feels great once it's over!
  4. Hello to all my fellow nurses and soon to be nurses! I am posting to give some hope to the student nurses preparing for their boards and who have taken kaplan! If you arent doing well on kaplan question trainers don't panic! I was so worried and everything I was reading was making me more upset because people said if you aren't getting 60 reschedule your exam.... guess what I nevery reached 60 on my question trainers and only twice on my qbanks here are my scores: diagnostic- 57% readiness- 56% Qtrainer 1- 53% qtrainer 2- 51% qtrainer 3- 52% qtrainer 4- 53% qtrainer 5- 57% qtrainer 6 - 55% qtrainer 7- 52% my highest on a qbank was 61% and my lowest was a 41%...... I took 12 then went back to my nursing notes and reviewed some more content! I went into the test nervous and scared but somewhat confident. I'm just letting all you know who are average students and don't do great on certain programs that it is possible! I got all of the dreadful 265 questions but that doesn't mean anything... of course I cried and thought I failed but I didn't and I'm officially a registered nurse Good luck to everyone and I wish you the best of luck! Have faith and confidence on your self!!! You got it!
  5. That is awesome! Congrats! And thank you it's reassuring to hear that because I don't understand why that happens and it discourages me but I'm glad to hear that happened to you and you passed!:)
  6. congrats to everyone who passed! i am doing kaplan and my qbank scores are ALL over the place. i will get a 60% then go down to a 50%.... im so confused!
  7. okay! did you do anything else to prepare or just Kaplan? im usually confident in myself but for some reason i am freaking myself out! I got a 57 on my diagnostic and a 56 on my readiness. i just keep doing qbanks and reviewing the rational but because im so up and down with my score i feel like i should do more... The stress is killing meeeee!
  8. How were your scores?! my qbank scores are all over the place.... i have ones as low as 47% and i haven't gotten higher then 61%. I take 3 a day usually and i go from getting a 60% down to a 50% on the next one... i am so confused and starting to feel discouraged because im only averaging around a 55% for qbank. I am still working on my qtrainers... Did you do anything else to help you prepare?! Thank you again!
  9. Hey all! I have been studying mostly using kaplan qbank and qtrainers. I'm not done all the qtrainers yet and haven't done too hot on the ones I have done so far. Also my qbanks are not the best and I am freaking out! Wanted some opinions on how everyone else did in relation to the nclex. My kaplan instructor told us not to worry about the percent as much as your hear rather track your performance so I've been doing that as well! I'm just have a major mental break down due to my test being neXT week... if anyone has any advice please help me out! Thanks!:)
