my lvn school requires you get a 90% or higher to exit our program and just wondering if anyone has taken the ati pn comprehensive predictor 2008 form b ?? if they have any study questions or helpful things? that would be great,
thanks!
I took the RN Med-Surg ATI exam yesterday. My professor made it our final and depending on the level we scored, influences the specialty that we can pref for our immersion.
I scored really, really well. I was surprised because I was not expecting to do so hot. I was not doing that great on the ATI practice exams so I was worried going into test yesterday. As soon as I saw my score, I almost cried and my professor met me out of the room to congratulate me. It was an awesome feeling of relief. I am so glad its over with.
I have all the ATI books and videos. The videos are not helpful IMO. The ATI books are good, but they are very very bulleted, so unless you understand the patho-phys behind the disease process, then they are not going to really do you any good.
I used the Saunders NCLEX review to supplement the ATI books and more often than not studied straight from that. I cannot speak any higher of that book. I love it and recommended it to many of my classmates and they took have thanked me 100x over for the recommendation.
I didnt purchase the ATI books myself as they were included as a class fee. But I do know from looking online that they are not cheap. I'd ask around to see if anyone has a copy of one of the ATI books to flip through before you committ to that much money and to be sure if its something that will actually help you when studying.
If you decide to purchase them look on ebay there are sets ususally for the PN and RN programs. We got ours through the school did not have a choice, they helped some but I have been using Saunder's since 1st semester. When we took our predictor a couple of weeks ago I have a 98% chance of passing NCLEX 1st time. I will let you know in a couple of weeks if its true. Good Luck.
I have the books and I've been reading them. They are helpful but not so much because the questions in the practice tests and the actual tests are very tricky. Do you remember any of the questions on the actual test? I usualy write them as soon as I leave the test to save them for a review for the Nclex. If you do, I will be greatfull. And good luck to to you on your Nclex exam.
Hi, Is there any international students here taking lvn classes? I'm from Vietnam. Learning Lvn is so new to me. It is said that if we don't have social security numbers, we can not take state board exams, right? How could i do now? Hic
And ATI exam, would anyone bring some questions, experiences and advices here to discuss?
Thanx

Check on NCLEX forum/discussion, you'll see a thread about study question................Do you think you known it?

Yes, I did all of them. So you think that the test is easier than the practice test? because I'm going crazy thinking that I will not pass the mental health.
Once you're accustom to the question format, that's a plus for you. Just make sure you read the question and understand what the question is asking and give rationale to every question before you pick the right answer. Because ATI question is very trickish and beware!!
