ati practice teas v compared to actual test

If you have taken the online teas, how much higher or lower did you score?

I only used the McGraw Hill practice test book and I thought it was pretty close to the actual TEAS. I scored a 96 on the TEAS, and whenever I did the practice tests from the book, I made about the same grade. And it was only $13.

Omg! I just took test A practice test and got a 58%! That's terrible! It was HARD. the science is so BROAD! To me the manual itself couldn't prepare you for it but i dont know.

I totally bombed the science and math. 53% in math and a 33% in science. My program wants a 58.7% to get in. And I take it Monday! I'm in such shock that it was so hard! Lol I'm panicking now! I was confident too! Lol

Don't panic!!!

I scored ALOT lower on the practice tests than I scored on my TEAS. I was scoring 60% on the practice tests and I got a 80.7% the next day on the TEAS. It seems like the online tests are MUCH MUCH harder than the actual test.

Believe me when I tell u. It's easier than u think. The TEAS study guide had me second guessing myself because of the scores I got on the practice. Somehow when I sat at the computer on test day, I applied myself more. Ended up with a very great score considering I'm 36 and had not performed at that basic level for quite some time.

The science on the TEAS V study material will def scare you. Give it no thought. Concentrate your efforts in the areas u excel. Also use YouTube to watch videos of concepts. That's where I relearned MOST of how to convert percents, decimal, fractions, ratios, probability, order of operations, etc.

Whatever the book told me I had to know, I was watching a video! I would focus only on those over 95% approval by at least a couple thousand people.

what did you end up scoring on the actual test if you don't mind me asking?

I passed my test on Wednesday. My program needs a 58.7% to get in the program. I got a 62.7%. Not great, but I'll take it. Whatever.

The actual test is easier than the online practice tests. And I saw a question directly from the book or practice test right on the test too!

Hi everyone, I am somewhat freaking out here!!

I took both of the online practice assessment tests and scored 62% on Pract A and 62.7% on Prac. B!! I was pretty shocked because the online assessments seemed to be pretty difficult to me and there were many questions that didn't match up to what I went over. I have studied the whole ATI book, from page 1-end, & I even did the 2 tests in the book. The online assessments contained many questions I was not prepared for. Right now, I feel like those assessments have discouraged me.

My test is tomorrow, bright and early. I just really want to know... Is the actual TEAS test easier than these practice online assessments??! (The school I want to get into requires a minimum of 68%)

Any help/suggestions would be great

I scored 78% and 72% on both practice tests, and scored a 92% on the actual TEAS test. The online tests are definitely tougher.
