I did the ati at the end of July and got a 98%. I felt like I couldn't remember the things I had learned at the beginning of the year and was surprised to have received such a high percentage. I am scheduled to take my test Oct. 9th. I would like to know if the ati is a good predictor too. Thanks for posting the question.
Hi Brant... am scheduled to take the test at the end of the month, and I'm having the worlds biggest MI..lol. I am also following Suzzane's plan, as well as Lippincott, and some notes someone here sent me (let me know if you want them, they're pretty good). But good luck to you, study hard:typing, and I'm sure we'll all do great! :specs:
I've been reading around and from what I've read and been told, the ati predictor or any diagnostic test isn't a definite indicator of whether you should be able to pass or fail. What is a good indicator, however, is the attitude and state of mind you hold towards the exam.
I recall a story told by my professor about two students who took the same diagnostic test. One recieved a 99th percentile score, while the other recieved a 1. And you know who failed? The one with the 99 because she proceeded thereon to be overconfident and thought lightly about the exam, hardly using any preparation. The other student passed first time after spending months religiously preparing
If you feel you've prepared enough and feel ready, then your good to go

Hi,
Finished up school on 8/21 waiting for pearson vue to set up date for nclex.
Question many in our class are taking Kaplan and they were told that the ATI predictor for the Nclex pass rate is not a good indicator of passing boards. Any comments on this?
Thanks:nurse:
