The only suggestion I would come up with is to read the ATI book from the very beginning, take notes, and re-read. Treat it like you would any other class. I didn't read - only took practice tests and it threw me for a loop. I was scoring 80-85% on practice exams (our program required us to get above a 63.99% I believe to pass) and those did not help me at all for the final exam. I saw maybe 3-4 repeat questions. Many of the questions that were asked on the ATI fundamentals exam were over topics that we had never covered in lecture - like ABGs (we learn that 2nd semester). It was incredibly tough but I don't think anyone failed. I definitely learned to be better prepared next semester for Med-Surg!
If your program uses the full ATI website, I highly recommend the online training modules for performing well on the tests, in addition to the books. That is where you will find all that oddly specific ATI information. The modules are relatively brief and easy to use, and also give you access to many more test questions and drills. I actually felt ATI was good prep for the NCLEX. Good luck!

If you received a good score on your ATI final for Fundamentals, what did you find to be a good study technique?
