I am starting ns in the fall (after 2 years of rejection:yeah:) and my school just posted info for orientation, uniforms (Im so excited! ), and then there were ATI test fees of 454.00 (approx.) saying the school uses ATI for assessment, practice tests, and modules. Does this fee cover some of our materials that we would normally buy? Will we be taking our tests on a computer through ATI every time? Just curious as I have only used ATI for the TEAS test.
Thanks in advance!!

idk...however, my ns didnt make us pay an additional fee for ATI, unless u were unsuccessful after two attempts. But i do know ATI really really SUCKED! LOL, they say its pretty good for NCLEX prep but i thought NCLEX was hella easier than that crap...not saying NCLEX didnt suck though lmbo, leaving the test site that day i was almost certain i bombed it. but, surprise surprise I PASSED!

They cover the fees for the tests as well as the ATI review books and dvds. However, you're paying significantly more than I did. Either my program subsidizes the cost of the ATI heavily, or you're paying for more than I did (perhaps whatever those 'module' things are).
Really? They're not so bad. Other than the Med-Surg test, my strategy has been to take each practice test once (getting at least a 60-something on it), retaking one of the practice tests 'til I get at least 90 on it, then sitting the actual test and getting my level-2 proficiency rating.

Our school requires we pay for our ATI modules and tests each semester. It's worked out to being over $110 each semester so far, and I'm just finishing semester 2 of 6. It's a steep price to pay, especially since the only reason they added the program is because NCLEX passing rates dropped to below 70% a few years ago. Yup, the director of the school had to answer some uncomfortable questions from the BRN.
That said, I really do like the modules, and last fall's NCLEX pass rate was 93%. So the the changes to the curriculum must have helped somehow, though the expense is a very pretty penny to pass onto students.
EDIT: Our total ATI fees (exams and modules) will end up around $500, so the number your school has quoted you seems to be accurate.

I have to take the ATI Assessment test before Im excepted into the LPN to RN program. Are there any pre-testss I can take?
For one, I thought that you were generally excluded from things you were excepted from - perhaps you mean "accepted"?
Secondly, I think you're taking a form of entrance test, which is different from most of the ATIs we're talking about, which are tests administered at the end of a class and/or program. Also, ATI also has a personality assessment type thing that was required for my program, but isn't something one is graded on - are you sure it's not that?
?????
Thanks for your grammer corrections. But I also misspelled testss.
Im going into the Apollo College for LPN to RN bridge program. (if I pass the test) I have to take a Admission specific ATI Assessment. Do you know what it means?

Each school can buy certain packages. For example, our school provides ATI learning modules, practice tests, assessments, and online pdfs of the books, which are all included in tuition. It does NOT cover the physical books, which cost about $187 for the entire series from the ATI store, nor the DVDs, which are used for classroom instruction and can be checked out from our library.
Because each school is different, I would suggest you check directly with the school.
BTW, the user interface you saw when you took the TEAS is the same interface used throughout your schooling. For example, I could log in to my account right now and see the report for my TEAS test, which I took a long, long time ago.

It's probably the TEAS. The personality test was administered during our orientation to the school.
We also took a critical thinking test, but I'm pretty sure it was not an ATI thing. I could be wrong, though.
