Hi!
I grew up in Vegas and went to UNLV, albeit not for nursing. I also was born in Arizona and my dad went to ASU. If it were up to me, I would go to ASU, even though it ranked as one of the top party schools. If you aren't into the whole party scene, I would chose ASU, even though I don't know much about their nursing program. UNLV is a great school....for business administration, accounting...etc.

Thank you all very much.@ nursestudentAZ I'm rather new to this site and I'm not sure where or how to check threads?
Can you please explain? Thanks
Sorry that this is late getting back to you--type Arizona State or UNLV into the search window and click "search"--all the threads with mention of these schools will come up for you. I know there's a lot of discussion on this site about admission requirements for ASU. I did not apply to ASU, but apparently you have to have a really high GPA, so that's something to consider. Hope you find some information to help you make your decision.

Hello everyone. I'm a pre-nursing major and I'm thinking about transferring to either ASU's or UNLV's BSN program. As of rite now ASU advisors are being a lot more helpful when it comes to information about the pre-reqs. I plan on visiting both campuses though. I'm just curious as to what everyone else's opinions on the two BSN programs are. Which is a better school? Who's test scores are higher???
