ASU Post-Baccalaureate BSN 2017 - Welcome

Published

Hey everyone,

I am a current post-bacc student at ASU. I wanted to start a thread for all of you who are applying for the 2017 class. Last year we had amazing support from the 2015 class, so we wanted to carry on that tradition and provide you all with the same support system. Feel free to use this thread to ask questions and seek advice. Many of my classmates will be on here answering your questions as well!

Good luck to you all!

It does feel like intentional torture! I have a question about stethoscopes. Are we allowed to have colored ones or just black ones as outlined in a guideline I saw somewhere? I have it on my Christmas wish list.....

I started a FB page for the 2017 hopefuls. (fingers crossed)

It called: 2017 Post-Bac BSN (aka: Sleep is optional, right?)

I'm new to this site. The information posted here is awesome! Thank you so much for doing this for our class :) Stay positive fellow applicants! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for us all.

Celester321 - I'm a current Post-Bacc and I can help you with stethoscopes! There aren't any restrictions on colors, I own a lavender one myself :) A few of my classmates have them in teal, pink, and other fun colors. Unless the rules change for your class, feel free to choose any color that suits you!

Oh, and good luck to all of you! The waiting was the worst part, I hope you all find out soon! Crossing my fingers!

Hey guys! Has anyone emailed their advisor to find out any information on when they will be sending out acceptances?

All I've ever been told is "early November". Which is not specific enough for me!:nailbiting:

I haven't yet. Have you?

Hi there, I'm new to the site too! Well I've been lurking for awhile now, just haven't posted. Thank you for creating this-it has been a wealth of information! I emailed my advisor on Monday and no response  and she's usually very responsive. Has anybody else reached out this week?

I emailed yesterday to ask and have yet to get a response as well. Normally he responds within the hour.

"It sounds like the applications are still in review, and that decisions should be released by mid-November."

Just got this email from my advisor. Hurry up and wait it is.

Seriously how?! They had 48 applicants?!

Awe man :sorry: So that means we wait about another 2 weeks
