Hello everyone,
This is my first post! What a valuable resource this site has been for me! A little background on myself to begin:
I am 24, male, and have a degree from ASU in Business Marketing (2012). I have been working all year on prerequisites required for consideration in ASU's Post-Bacc BSN program, which (if you are unfamiliar) is a program that allows people with degrees to get their BSN in 12 months after completion of pre-reqs. It requires a minimum 3.50 select GPA and 58.7% score on the TEAS to even be considered.
I received A's in all prerequisites except for a sophomore-year psychology 101 class, which was a B. This makes my application GPA a 3.89 (instead of a 4.0 ). I just took the TEAS yesterday, and got a 91.3% (99th percentile national, 98th percentile in the ASU BSN program overall).
Do any accepted applicants have opinions on my scores? What do you think the chances of me getting into the program are? If you can speak to your experience with the application and admissions process, that would be great. I think I am doing well, and I believe after they look at my application and see that I have straight A's on all of my medical-related prerequisites, they won't discredit my GPA with the one psychology class.
Also, anyone else applying? How has the process been? Our apps are due soon!
Thanks in advance for your advice!
I also got in, see you guys in Dec! Congrats to all who got it so far!
lrothas--Don't be discouraged, out of 40 people you've got to bet a least a couple applied for more than one spring-start program, could be from out of town and decide against program or what not so I am holding out hope for you! wishing you luck
lrothas, the cut-off scores weren't listed in the acceptance letters either, but if you find out, post it here. It would be interesting to know. Plus, I am sure the 2015 applicants will soon be reading this thread and find the information incredibly helpful. I hope you are elevated from the waitlist!

Yes, the facebook group is still there. It does take some searching. Private message rtyo1 and he can set you up. Or search for Arizona State University groups and then scroll through until you find the right one. It took me a little while to get to the right place.
