ASU 16 month program vs. 24 month program

U.S.A. Arizona

Published

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to decide if I should apply to the 16 month or 24 month program in ASU. I need some input from others who are either in the program or have graduated from the program. If it is a faster pace for the 16 month one or not and what are the differences besides little to no break in between. Thanks in advance.:D

canyongirl,

How long did it take you to get into the program at ASU? And did you get the campus location you wanted?

I know with ASU's program the "select" GPA is a HUGE focus, and now the NET makes up a large percentage as well since they've dropped the essay.

If you don't mind posting your GPA & NET results, I'm very curious to see how I stack up against a current ASU student.

Thanks a bunch,

Determined,

Shows you my head has been in the books. I didn't know ASU dropped the essay from their entrance requirements.

To answer your questions - I got in the first time I applied and to the campus I applied to. My GPA was 4.0; Net results: Math .94 and Reading .76. The cut off score means nothing now without the essay requirement. It makes it harder to see where you stand once you've tested. But the upside is you don't have to stress over the essay.

I know several people who got in on their second or third try.

If you have any other questions, let me know. Feel free to email direct if you want more specifics.

Good luck!
