Associate's in Liberal Arts Degree, with a concentration in something

Published

I know at first glance this isn't nursing related but actually it is. I am back to thinking about applying to DCN, and was thinking while I wait, I would work on an Associates in Liberal Arts with Excelsior. I was thinking that way I could knock out some of my pre-reqs for DCN, and I could hopefully get by Associate's sometime in the first semester at DCN, and find a better paying job while in school.

So what can I do with an Associate's in Liberal arts, in healthcare or another feild?

I'm sorry but I'm confused...by DCN you are talking about a Doctorate in Clinical Nursing? If that is the case, what about taking master's level classes which might give you a head start? If you already have a bachelors degree in something, that is.

Sounds like a good plan.

I'm not sure what the job market is for an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts is, but it definately is a good idea to get those coreqs for your nursing degree out of the way.

Good luck.
