Associate in General Studies towards BSN?

U.S.A. Arizona

Published

Long story short, I was working towards a Associate in Science degree for engineering and decided being laid off in the engineering industry really stunk. So a change in direction is where I am heading. I have the credits to complete an Associate in General Studies degree but can that be used to apply for the CEP BSN programs in Arizona?

I don't want to lose courses, or retake courses due to limited transfer credits. I am considering the concurrent education program with Northern Arizona University BSN program, and I am almost finished with all the prerequisites and co-requisites for their nursing program. I am currently on the MCCCD nursing program waiting list as well, any Ideas?

I got my agec and AA right before I applied and got accepted into the cep program and it hasn't made getting FA any different.

I only applied for my Agec-a to satisfy some of the credits required by NAU instead of taking additional classes. I'm skeptical since I only applied for that not an AA and I receive Pell grants.

I receive Pell grants too.
