Assignment grading concern

Just finished my last class 4510 this past Saturday. It is now Tuesday afternoon and my final paper and final BB postings have not been graded yet in Blackboard. My TA, who has been very nice but rather hands off, emphasized all last week how important it was to have final assignments in before deadline of this past Saturday by 8 am because grades had to be submitted by noon yesterday. Should I be worried?? I just don't have the time or patience to chew up my cell phone minutes or send emails into a black hole trying to follow up on this issue with OU. Anyone else going through this or had this issue previously? Thanks so much for any input.....

It's frustrating but in my experience since starting in the spring, not uncommon at all.

Have you tried sending your TA an email?

I've started an email to send my TA, but wanted any input from fellow students. Have you experienced this situation? My TA, who was nice but seemed very hands off, emphasized how important it was to get everything in before Saturday because grades had to be submitted by noon yesterday. My stuff isn't graded, hence my grades could not have been submitted. OU has never responded to my few emails in the past, so I was hoping to get student input, because if I send another email and get no response, this will become really irritating. Grateful for any input from students who have gone through this nonsense, thank you!!

I just finished 4510 also. I clicked on my grades on blackboard and my grades for all of the assignments were there. I have emailed my TA before and got a response the next morning.

The only time I had late grades at the end of class is because the professor had a unexpected death in the family. I cut her some slack ....

My final db grade is not in yet. I'm not worried as its not the end of the semester, so,technically, there is still plenty of time for them to submit grades...

Thank you for all of the input, she just came through w. my grades for my final assignments in BBoard, so now I know my final grade. Its important they post our assignment grades (for Blackboard) as soon as they can, or based on the expectation they gave us; if a student doesn't achieve a B or better, they'll have to repeat the class, and will need time to modify their schedule and come up with the $$$.

I agree. I'm still waiting for mine but I figured with a 15 on the paper I would still have an A so I guess I'm not overly concerned. I'm glad you received your grade!

I just had my EHR paper graded today. My discussion posts and the last paper have not been graded yet. I too am worried about not passing the class. I did send both the TA and the professor an email, with no response, so don't waste your minutes if you don't have any. I know I would have to mess up really bad not to pass, but not knowing leaves the mind open to imagination!
