ASN to BSN in NY

Published

Hello, dear nurses! I am disparately need your advice. I am in my second semester of 2 years associate nursing program(evening program). At the same time I am working full time at the Hospital for Special Surgery as a nurse tech. After I'll finish ASN I am planning to get my BSN and continue to work full time. Would you please recommend good colleges with evening programs in NY or online programs? I did my own research but I feel kind of lost:

  1. Hunter program suspended till 2012 and very competitive
  2. Lehman, Molloy, Adelphi have 2 hours commute from place where I work
  3. NYU, Columbia are expensive
  4. SUNY downstate does not have a good reviews + 2 hours commute
Would you recommend some good online programs? Thank you for your help!

You will probably get better responses if you post this in the section intended for the state of NY schools. This forum is more general and is an international venue, therefore most of us here have no idea about NY schools. Good luck :)

Hey medsestra...

Some online programs I;ve looked into for the RN to BSN include, Utica College, SUNY Delhi, Kaplan University, and Drexel University... Check them out, there's always someone there willing to help you out. Good luck on the rest of your studies =)
