What's up with the Governator and his issues with nurses and nursing. Is it a personal vendetta, or is he just really really dense (and yes, dense is the kindest name I could think of calling him)? He puts a hault to the ratios, calls nurses special interest, says he kicks our butts, and tries to dissolve the Board of Registered Nursing. I'm just not getting it. Can anyone play Devil's advocate here and offer up some logic on eliminating this very important governing board?

I came in to work today and a coworker had a petition which was sent out by the CA Nurses Assoc. demanding that the gov. NOT eliminate the BRN. As bad as this would be for nursing in general, it's even worse for the public. I'll be honest, I have been so interested in him fighting the ratios and kicking our butts that I completely missed the BRN thing. Let me not be the first to say...that man scares me. :chair:

Not sure what his problem, but surely he was aware of the nursing staff when he was in the hospital with his heart issues.

Go to nursing news and read Brians's posts and the replies about him. The man is a fas....t. He is very scary. Do you realize the amount of campaign contributions he is getting from news media for his political campaigns? About $50 mil now, huge amount from Fox, like $450,000. How about Maria? They really make a team. There is enough control of the media but this is getting really bad.There is so much more and even if you are not from CA, you really need to know what this man is doing. After all, CA is a model for the rest of the country. His political contributions from rich corporations is very scary indeed. Someone posted about the corporations funding him for presidency. Some one posted something about Arnold Watch.org. That is where I am off to next. He is for total power. What the heck does he want with the BON? He wants it under his control same as any other public protective groups. He wants to control it ALL!!!!

Yes, the man is indeed scary and sitting pretty in a political office that gives him the power and control. All Californians who voted for him need to step forward and tell us WHY because for the life of me, I don't understand WHY he was so popular! :uhoh3:

Just because we may have enjoyed some of his movies doesn't mean he was fit to be a governor! And God help this country if he EVER gets elected as President. :rolleyes:

Careful who gets elected into power....just never know what the end results will be. :stone
