Hello,
I was a US Army medic for four years and studied music after the service. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Music and wanted to go into teaching but after teaching at a private school for a year, I knew it could not be my career. During my time in the service, I worked at a clinic with civilian nurses & military PAs. The time I spent working with them and caring for patients (soldiers) was the most enjoyable and memorable.
I am currently studying pre-nursing at a CC in Southern California and I am actively looking for universities with ABSN or Traditional BSN transfer programs. I have looked into ADN & Entry level MSN, but I am certain I want to do BSN for now. My tuition will be fully funded by GI Bill and I also have my eyes on private schools.
Here is a few that I've looked at: CSUF, West Coast, APU, UCI
To recent grads/current students: do you have any suggestions? Please leave me posts and tell me a little bit about your school or school that I would be interested in. Thanks alot!

Online University | Online Degree Programs | WGU has a prelicensure BSN program in your area. WGU is military friendly, accredited, affordable and the 'classroom' portion of the program is online.
If you decide to explore this program, call and ask to speak to a dedicated prelicensure enrollment person.
Hmm.. how does an online BSN program work? accreditation and practice wise?
Fully accredited and an NLN Center of Excellence. ONLY the classroom part is online. Clinicals and sim/ lab happens in person of course. Most grads have jobs before they graduate.
Overall NCLEX first-time pass rate is >91%. (Higher then the national average)
There are ample threads about this program.
Oh I see. Great, I'll look into it. Thank you!
