Armor Correctional LPN pay in Florida?

Published

Was wondering if anyone has worked at any of Armor's sites in Florida? What were working conditions like? Pay for LPNs? Overtime?

I loved nursing until I worked corrections at prisons with corizon. I am treated worse than the inmates. And it is equal to slave labor. I have been a great nurse for over 23 years, my mother and three sisters are/were nurses. If you want to work with hard core nurses that want money, and don't care about what nursing is really about, then work with corizon. They expect you to do the work of 3 nurses and never say thx.

I have been reading some negative comments about them from Indeed and other folks mentioned their benefits package is very expensive, especially for the family one. Hmm, maybe I should reconsidered? I mean, I sent my resume and I confirmed that they did receive it. The HR department seem very icky. She had an attitude (probably because I called twice) but I can definitely see what you are saying, Give me a break. So far my experience is not the best with HR. I will see what happens though. If its meant to be, I will probably get a response and see what happens, if not then I will try other avenues. Thanks again!
