Is anyone applying to the CRNA program at Arkansas State University in 2017?

I did speak to my friend who just graduated from ASU & he said he didn't really know how the interview would go, since there has been a change in program directors. He said his interview consisted of like a 20 question quiz that had CCRN-type questions & some basic chemistry. He said it wasn't like a pass/fail, but it was used in the interview for discussions. He said the interview itself was pretty laid-back. He thought the class sizes were somewhere around 30.

I heard the same thing Dream2bcrna about the quiz type thing, but the guy I talked to graduated 3 years ago and he said theres a different program director so it will more than likely not be the same. I also talked to someone that is a second year there and he didn't say anything about the quiz just that it is really laid back but they will ask a few clinical type questions and that there was a student panel when he interviewed. I also heard from someone it was a personality type interview, sooooo who knows?!?! Anyone else heard anything?

Good luck to those of you interviewing today! Let us know if you find out how many they are interviewing/accepting, and whether the interview is still primarily personality/behavioral based with the new director, or if there were a lot of clinical questions.. please!! I'm interviewing August 31. So nervous!!

I interviewed today, there is a quiz with CCRN questions. The interview covers and variety of topics. Be prepared to be there a while because they were running behind 1-1.5 hours.
Thanks for the info. How many interviews you?
Well....What did y'all think of the interview? Aside from the test beforehand, my interview was very brief with very few questions asked. I noticed on the list of people scheduled that it appeared to be 12-15 for the day & the assistant told me they have 3 more days of interviews next week, so I'm thinking they're interviewing about 75 people & maybe choosing 30?
Were the questions asked in depth clinical questions? I interviewed at another school last week, and it was very intense.
I was not asked any in-depth clinical questions.
I did not have any in depth clinical questions. Have you taken graduate level statistics and CCRN?
I've got ccrn but haven't tAken statistics yet
They really just covered basic questions with me and then addressed things like studying techniques, talked about graduate statistics, GRE, etc
