Is anyone applying to the CRNA program at Arkansas State University in 2017?

I don't know what happened to my last post, it never populated. I have had my CCRN for about two years did best in cardio and pull sections. I agree getting into an interview will be huge. I have landed 12/13 jobs I have interviewed. the one I missed was due to a union technicality, minimum three years exp and I only had 2.5, but I made it to the last two candidates. Now I have only accepted 3 jobs. I started in a lvl 1 Burn/Trauma ICU, but Utah pays trash, so I moved to a big general ICU that promised to train me on hearts in Portland which about doubled pay. Needless to say they sent their heart program away and stopped training people about 3 months after I got there, so I didn't get to do that. So I served my time there I signed for due to the signing bonus and relocation assistance. Now I work in Vancouver Wa in a CVICU and will go through heart training at the beginning of the year. Signed up for the Jan group. I wanted a lot of exp and have dealt with about any line known, and many difficult patients. I have been part of several committees while working. Skin, new hire committee to develop training programs for new hires, critical care advisory council, union rep for the hospital, preceptor at all three hospitals. Since I have moved each year though I haven't been a charge yet, but I am in this CVICU for the long haul til I get in somewhere. But here they only have like 7 charges that just rotate, where both hospitals I worked at in Utah (one as a CNA) they trained everyone to charge pretty much. I worry that not being a charge, and moving 3 times in 3 years is also a strike. The classes I took are Pathophysiology and also stats, but I guess not all schools count stats as a science class. My issue is that I applied to Gonzaga the last two years, and didn't even get an interview. That school is crazy hard to get into, but that was my dream school cause I wanted to stay in the Coeur d Alene area when I finished school, but it wasn't meant to be. Hurt my pride a little and was loosing some hope. Now time to broaden my application than just that school.

Has you guys started class yet? I still haven't received a packet :scrying:
