Hello!

I just thought to make this thread for anyone applying to the Arkansas State U ABSN program for summer 2020. Please feel free to share tips and pointers for a successful application process and possibly acceptance.

Also if we do get in (which we will fingers-crossed), we can connect with each other and help one another out for things like finding a roommate and affordable places to live for those of us coming from out of state.

Hey, glad you started this, I was looking for a thread for this cycle, have you applied yet? are you local?

I have applied and been accepted to the school. Yet to apply to the Nursinf program itself because I want to take my HESI Exam first. I’m not a local. You?

I am actually applying to the school and working on my nursing app, although i have taken my Hesi... not local neither, although I heard some people live in Memphis and commute! How long did it take for the school to admit you?

It took about 2 weeks. My processing will

be different because I’m an international student so I’m guessing yours shouldn’t take as long. Be mindful they’re pretty slow, like you have to tell them what and how to do stuff which was pretty frustrating. Maybe you’ll have a different experience. And I’m looking to get a place near campus, mostly walking distance.

Lol nope. I got my bachelor's here in the US and transferring to A state for nursing.

Apparently they don’t look at the applications until after March 15 which is the deadline
