Arkansas State 2019 CRNA

Published

So, I completed my application to Arkansas State's MSN CRNA program beginning in 2019. I was relieved to have everything submitted by the priority deadline. Who else out there is trying for this school? Anyone have any information about the interview process?

Just now joining the thread but I also have an interview on August 6th. Still need to take the Stats course and pass CCRN but I'm still hopeful! Has anyone heard about the details of the interview? Some schools have a written test with CCRN like questions so I'm trying to prepare myself!

So it seems there are interviews at ASU from Monday the 6 till Wednesday the 8th?

I was unable to get a schedule for the interview day...just to be there 30 mins prior to the interview time.

I guess i may have to consider staying another day if things run late.

Gluck everyone

Has anyone interviewed? Just wondering what to expect!

Just joining the thread. Just left the interview today. Don't want to say too much. Just go with being yourself. That is really much of what they want after you have some competence under your belt. See what kind of person you are...

Here is what I will share from my personal interview. They made me feel comfortable. I felt confident. They took their time. I did not feel rushed. There were periods of mutual laughter, seriousness, and learning opportunities where capitalized on. Hospitality is what I expected from this "Natural State" -- It is what I got. But that is only half the story. I'll keep threading until I get "in". Hoping the best for all of you. It would be great if we could continue this into our acceptance in the school.

Thank you for the input! I really like this description. Hopefully that will put us all at more ease. I just got settled into Jonesboro earlier this evening and go in for my interview at 10:00 tomorrow morning. Will keep you guys posted. Good luck to all! I hope we all push through to the other side :)

Does anyone know how many interviews were given/ how many they are accepting?

I was told that they can take up to 40 but the last couple years they haven't taken that many. Last years class was 35 and the year before that was less. Fingers crossed!
