Everyone else does it so I thought I'd throw another hat in the ring. Who out there is going to anesthesia school at ASU starting Jan. 2007? I'll see ya there!

I work in small hospital in El Dorado and we are just now starting open hearts this next week. I have been a nurse for years. Just nervous about applying

Three stations...general stuff like why do you want to be a crna and stuff like that; knowledge station with a crna and student, it was pretty low stress but stuff you should know; and an interview with Ms. Campbell and a student...just general questions. There is a written test but they keep you moving in and out. Good luck to you.
ctucker 46 Posts Has 8 years experience. Mar 8, 2006 I would love to get in as soon as possible which will probably be 2008. From what I hear they are overloaded with applicants. Did any of yall apply to any other programs.
kimberlydrn 11 Posts Mar 8, 2006 I've been a RN for 12 years, but am just now finishing my BSN. I'll complete it Dec 2007 and hope to interview at ASU in Nov or March. I believe those are the months they interview. It will be the only place I apply. I hadn't heard that they were overloaded with applicants. That's kindof scary.

vadrn 13 Posts Mar 16, 2006 I start the ASU program in 2007. As far as I know they are still trying to fill spots. I know of at least two nurses that I work with who are interviewing this month. Their interview is not bad at all. They do a very good job at making you feel welcome. Sue Campbell is great, and she makes you feel very comfortable. Good Luck to all that have interviews!
