Who else here is applying to ASU for the summer or fall 2014 cohort? Applications are all due February 1! There are 60 spots for summer dpc, 60 spots for fall dpc, 30 spots for fall at Mayo, and 20 spots for fall at the VA hospital. Lots of options this year. What are you guys choosing? How is your GPA and TEAS? I'm going to be a nervous wreck until i get a letter in the mail that will either confirm or squash my dreams. I really want to get into Mayo. That would be so awesome.

Anyone else get super excited over the confirmation email today? The first step of the waiting game is done! Only two more months, 1 more email and an official letter to go! :)
My GPA was a 3.79 and my TEAS score was a 94% giving me an advancement score of 1.8875. Just typing it makes me nervous. My first choice is Summer!
Good luck everyone and may the odds be ever in your favor!
I'm getting really nervous now reading everyone else's score for the program!! I'm a transfer student and I believe my score is roughly a 1.6 and I'm applying for summer. I was fine until I heard that this year there are more applicants than there are spots. I'm trying to keep it on the back burner to focus on patho and such but it's so hard!
Well I'm out of the competition. I received a rejection letter this afternoon. "While the committee is unable to offer you a spot within the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) prelicensure program, we are pleased to offer you admission into Pre-Nursing." No reason why, no clue why I was rejected. Btw, my advancement score was 1.7655. I wonder how many applicants there were this time around?
I got that letter too, it was from the Undergrad admissions office since I am a transfer and had to reapply for Summer 2014. I immediately called the Nurse Health Inn office and asked about it. She said I was perfectly fine and that they have not even made any decisions yet. So don't give up, I guess undergrad admissions likes to crush peoples dreams haha. GL!

I had to send in 3 petitions. From what I've heard, it's pretty common. Good luck everyone!!
