We are think about moving to Arizona or Nevada.......
I am nurse with 10 years oncology nursing experience. I make $31.05/hr.
Is this comparable to Arizona pay?
Thanks a million......

Hello, we are relocating to Phoenix from Dallas, TX. Does anyone have any experience with Banner Health Systems? I was told I would come in at 31/hr, I currently make 69K annually (I work in a clinic), that is roughly 33/hr. I'm holding out for Mayo or Dignity... 2 years experience BTW.

It does make a huge difference! BSN graduates are more prepared theoretically vs ASN Nursès who are said to have more hands experience. In fact, BSN Nursès are trained to prioritize. Also, for a hospital to get magnet status all Nursès needs to have a BSN.

How are BSN nurses trained to prioritize any differently than ASN nurses?
I'm note sure but I was told that in school. I'm sorry not arguing but I went to lobby day in Washington DC. They where lobbying for ASN Nursès to grandfathered in after 10yrs experience and that's what I was told as well. In their words, "BSN Nursès are decision makers."
I'm in the process of moving to Pheonix Arizona in 3 weeks as well. I only have 1 year experience and I got an OR position with Dignity for $34/hr so I think you can get more. Check St. Joseph as well. I'm not sure how to inbox people but if you do, I can tell you more.
