U.S.A. Pennsylvania

Hi all, I'm new to this site (just joined today). But I've been lurking for a few weeks. I'm applying for the Aria Health SON and would love to meet others who are applying for the September 2012 academic year.

Specializes in ORTHO, TRAUMA, MED-SURG, L&D, POSTPARTUM.

Darn I don't remember. I couldn't really see who asked that from where I was in the room. Maybe I'll bump into you on Monday then if you have a class. I have two classes Monday. The only new person I remember vividly from the town hall metting was the guy who described all the technical aspects of why our cooling/heating system was out of wack. :b

So how's everyone feeling so far? Probably a silly Q, since its only been a week, but I'm sure we are all feeling a bit overwhelmed

@bumblebee which class(es) do you have on Monday?

@kristin...okay so its not just me lol

----> Overwhelmed too! The amount of info they crammed into one week was :wideyed: But I'm so happy to have finally seen you all! Ashley I hope you had a great day at clinicals!!

Bumblebee, thanks so much for your guidance through this whole process. I was glad to see you too, even though it was brief lol...I glanced back when you asked the question so I saw you, but with so much going on don't remember what you look like lol! Are you going straight for you BSN now or still taking a mini break?

haha how could u miss him!? ;) yeah he is totally right about the system. Its terrible. You are either freezing or sweating, its like we cant get an in between. We have one classmate that gets up atleast every hour to mess with the box.

as far as complaining that the coffee cups are too small LOL i cant believe he had nerve to say that to the dean...i just had my head down like are you serious? We should be grateful we even HAVE a coffee machine! We didnt have that at our old school!!!!!!!!

I can't believe he told that to the Dean either!!! We are very lucky to have that coffee machine lol. Bumblebee, I heard the question you asked, but definitely didn't see who asked it, so i don't know who you are yet either :( You've been extremely helpful! So thank you for all your advice and kind words!

I'm getting so nervous for our first test!!!

Hey simply blessed ! i just took the teas v test and scored a 64 proficient and kathy in admissions said i did good? which i didnt understand bc last year my friend scored a 80 but didnt say ne thing about proficient or advanced like this test did.. im applying for sept 2012 i just need to turn in my essay ! im so nervous!

Hello, I applied to the January 2013 class and just took my TEAS. I am soooo nervous that I did bad and will not get accepted because of my score. I got a 69 and thought I did horrible. However after reading different threads it seems most people score around a 60-75? Could you tell me if you were accepted or can someone tell me if I should have some hope in getting accepted?

I am so worried I will not get in that I am looking at different degrees to start right away in case I do not get accepted.

I feel the exact same way! I am so nervous to find out and I also keep looking at my checklist. Keep me updated! :)

Can you check your acceptance on the checklist??

Can you check your acceptance on the checklist??

shes already accepted, shes talking about the first nursing test.

and as far as getting a 69...its not terrible, but it definately doesnt make you stand out. IF your other things make you stand out, than you have a chance. Depends on your GPA and how many classes you have completed already etc....
