Aria Health School of Nursing - Jan 11'

Published

Just wanted to see who else was currently applying for the January 11' start date. My application is in RAP review as of today. I went in with like a 3.2GPA and did very well on my TEAS. I scored an 87% on it which put me in the 94th percentile nationwide. When I went on the interview I was told the TEAS score was very good and my GPA was good as well. I'm kind of bugging out. I want this so bad because I don't want to wait a whole year to re-apply for the fall classes. Finger's crossed. Anyone else out there applying now as well?

Hey guys grats on your acceptance to the Jan 11 semester.

Just reading everyones posts makes me so excited.

I'm looking forward to apply to the program and was wondering which version of the teas test is required by aria? The 3.0/4.0 or v?

I've tried calling the admissions office but it seems I never get an answer.

i TOOK the teas test and i have no idea what version it was, or that they had different versions. sorry im no help

I asked someone about the version a month ago...and they said it was version 4.

Thanks so much!

yeah, and im prob gonna get my bachelors from penn state right after. *sigh* another 3 years of school here I come.....

it only takes three more semester to get the BSN from Penn State afterwards....And I am already taking classes towards my BSN now so it will really only take me 2 more semesters at Penn States world campus online to get my BSN afterwards...... Oh and what the one girl said about the break.....yeah you will want the month break.....trust me you will need more than one week break, they used to only have like 2 weeks but students complained and then they started the month thing.....its great. Remember I just started last January and I am half way done already....It goes sooooo FAST..........................just wait and see :)

I guess the month is okay and will be needed once im in school but it just seems so long right now. You said you bought your books as a bundle up front right Nep, how much was that? and that sounds awesome to have a BSN in only three semesters, I def want to do that.

Thanks for your input Nep. I was wondering what they would do once you finished all your PSU classes for the associates. I was hoping you could start the BSN classes...im assuming its included with what youre already paying each semester? Cuz I already have my associates and i only need a few more classes. and the tuition seems set. im saying like i didnt know if they would lower the tuition if i ran out of PSU classes.

its kinda hard to explain, do u understand what im saying?

yeah the tuition is set. I just found out today that the abnormal psych class I transferred in from montco will count towards my diploma but if I take the abnormal psych class at aria it will count towards the BSN at PSU so I am going to retake that class at Aria to get credit towards my BSN and get it included in the aria tuition and not pay like 1300 just for that class after I graduate and enroll in the world campus PSU RN to BSN.... Yeah there is no discount on the tuition it costs the same if you take the clinical class only or if you take clinical and PSU classes

its somewhere around a thousand dollars......don't get scared.....think about how you used to spend like 400-600 like every semester at community college, right.....well this is once and done and just think there are like 3 semesters each year....I will tell you all sooooo much at orientation.....and just remember my birthday is on the 8th.....we will have a lil party at orientation

awww HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! and thanks for all your help, now and later!!! :)

any recommendations for insurance? my health insurance is gone once I stop working full time. my last day will be Dec 31st. I didnt get a chance to look at their websites they offered yet. what do other students generally use?? thx

Hey guys i received an email about a Learning Resource Survey. What is that about??? I have to go to the school and pickup a code---huh? I guess ill have to try to get out of work early one day this week.......

Does that pertain to incoming students?
