Are there waiting periods if you fail the NCLEX?

Published

I am waiting to be able to take the RN boards. My question is, if you fail, do you have to wait a certain length of time before you can take them again?

I don't know but what I will say is have confidence in yourself and don't think negative thoughts!!!! Think "I don't care about the waiting time if you fail because I am going to PASS"

I hope I don't sound mean but I took my boards 10 months after I graduated due to some stuff that was my fault and every morning I literally told myself the NCLEX is a piece of cake go in there and ace that test

Here in California if you fail you have to wait 90 days befre you can raake it again. Just be positive. Good luck to you.

Depending on which state, the waiting period averages 45 to 90 days.

I hope that you have the confidence that you will pass. I had to wait 45 days to retake my boards. During that time I tried a different strategy and before you know it, it was time to take my boards again. This time I passed.

If you are having some hard times or crisis in your life maybe it would be best to reschedule it. I shoulda, coulda, woulda if I knew I was going to fail the first time.

I passed on the first attempt.
