Just curious how often, post graduation, nurses are using PICO(T) as a tool in their regular day at work?
If so, what area of nursing are you working in?
Are you accessing the computer or medical library at work to search or read nursing journals?

I'll look up conditions or procedures that I'm not familiar with, but I'm waaaaay too busy with patient care to formulate nursing research questions, let alone conduct the research. I set goals for patients all the time, but it's anybody's guess if or when they will be met. We use EPIC, and it makes me crazy when a PT notice pops up on the care plan: "The following goal was expected to be met by today: patient will have improved mobility." Uh....the patient is paralyzed and sedated, prone, and with ICPs in the 30s. He's not moving anywhere!
