Hi everyone,
I'mcurrently holding an LVN license here in California. I studied LVN program for a year here in OC.
However I was studying BSN in the Philippines before I came here. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish it. I only reached up to to 3rd year and still have one more year to finish it..
I'm just wondering if I can use those subjects that I took in the Philippines to speed up RN program here in Calif?
Is there any school that will give me credits will all those subjects that i took?
I would really appreciate your response
:confused::confused:

You would have to contact the school you wanted to go to and ask them. You will need official records or transcripts of the courses you took.

Agreed with Lori- Some people might be able to assist if you actually had a ASN/BSN from the Philipines, but some ed here and some ed there is a hard one. I honestly would have to say that the credits PROBABLY wouldn't carry over/transfer, but I could be wrong. If your transcripts are not English based, it will behoove you to translate them before turning them in.

"Official" transcripts are sent between institutions. If she has access to the piece of paper before the school it would no longer be an official transcript and wouldn't count for anything.
