Are you a RN in Temple, TX?

I'm in a predicament. I'm a new RN with a young family and have just secured my first job. I want very much to take a 7a-7p shift however I'm having trouble locating appropriate facilities that stay open that late. What are you guys doing? I've found only one place which is not really a choice I'd like to have to use. But, unless I take a day shift of 8 hours...and then do five days a week, that's where they'd have to go. Plus it would put them in daycare 5 days a week versus just three. This is a big issue for me. Oh...dh can't really be relied on for helping me out. He's a med student and rotates in the hospital now and has to split time with studying and sleeping for the most part. He'll help when he can...but again, I'm trying to figure out a PLAN here. Any suggestions?

If you're a brand new RN, you might encounter issues while attempting to find a 12 hour day shift position. These shifts are often filled by experienced RNs who have seniority with the facility.
