In Florida, since I have only read negative things about Ft. Lauderdale and Miami hospitals, aside from Baptist which sounds like the only suitable one and everyone is probably trying to apply for, are there ANY good hospitals to work in Orlando? And maybe I missed something and there are some good places to work as a nurse in Ft. Lauderdale, Miami area....please if there are, let me know!

I think LRMC is a great hospital to work for. Its located in Lakeland. Has about 800 beds and a good heart program. Lakeland is about 1/2 between Tampa and Orlando so is in a good location.

Specializes in ED.

In Bradenton, gulf side. LWRMC voted 10 best places to work.

Specializes in LTC, Hospice, Tele, ICU.
