Aquiring a florida liscense

Ok i took the NCLEX and passed it in may, but now due to some personal reasons i think i am going to be moving to south florida. What do i have to go through to be liscensed in florida. Please dont say take the nclex again:crying2:. By the way i took the nclex in tennessee which is part of the 16 state compact.

Sorry but I am not a NP yet. And when I renewed my license, in 1996 I had to submit fingerprints. And when I reapplied for re-endorsement, several months ago, I again had to submit to fingerprints, another criminal background check and pay more then $200. And I think this is outrageous, the $200 plus fee. I held a vaild Florida license which I chose not to renew, for more then 15 years. They are forcing me to resubmit my board scores, something they all ready have on file, and pay all the eztra money. Florida may not have a state income tax, like NYS, but they make it up in other ways. Fingerprints are required for any professional nurse who wish a license, NP or just RN.

That's strange, because I acquired my license in 2002 and renewed in 2004 and BOTH times I did not need to submit fingerprints.

Aha! ... Here's the answer! It's required for licensure by endorsement.
