APU 2 + 2 nursing prgram

Hello, I have applied to apu for their fall 2021 program. I would love to hear from others who are in the same process. This whole waiting game is pretty intense. 

Cum GPA: 3.50 

science GPA: 4.00

OMG same here! I took the HESI before but never the TEAS. Really good to know. Thank you for the information on LLU BSN. I wonder will RCC accept my online sciences from LAPU?

No I did not get an email I just logged in to where we submitted the application and instead of saying 100 percent complete like it used to, it now said decision ready and I clicked on the link and opened the letter :/. Thank you guys I will def keep reapplying

I know RCC is accepting online classes because of the pandemic. ?

Yep, 2 science classes in 2017 and the others in 2020. I’ll check out RCC. At this point, I’m fine with either route, whether it’s going for ADN and than go back and get my BSN or straight Lvn-BSN. It would be a drive though, since I’m in Victorville but hey??‍♀️ I did almost enroll in Nightingale College and drive to Vegas so I’ll be OK?.

Hey guys! Silent reader here? I've been following this forum since the beginning and thought I'd let you guys know that I just got denied. I applied to the IE campus. My science GPA was 3.41 (with a C in micro) and cumulative GPA 3.62. I also have almost 2 years of CNA experience.

My background: I have been waiting on the waitlist at Cypress College for over 2 years and so I thought that I would give APU a shot since I got impatient of waiting. Also I'm just sick and tired of being a CNA?! I'm still going to keep myself on the waiting list at Cypress College and I'm currently looking into LVN programs while I'm waiting. I'm also planning on reapplying to APU.  

Don't give up guys! There's so much opportunities out there for us and we will all become nurses one day!

Hello, I’m sorry to hear that. Do not give up! Definitely reapply. Yes, we will be nurses soon.???? 
I always appreciate the obstacles in life they make you wiser and stronger.  
Always keep trying and push forward, never give up. ?

I also got a denial letter.

so I'm thinking to reapply it. And start preparing for TEAS test as well for other schools. My concern is that should I get some certificate like CNA? Will that help me on getting accepted to a school? cuz I don't have any volunteer experience. I only healthcare administrator experience for 2 years. What do you guys think? 

btw my general GPA is 3.61 and science GPA is 3.71
