By the way, I was looking at the previous post related to VANAP, and it seems like they would announce around near the end of November instead of the website mentioning that it will be announced around December. I'm concerned about the personal statement and four prompts that we had to write. Mine looks like a research paper... I wasn't even sure about the format. I wonder who will be the lucky 20 cohorts.

Since you have actual hands-on experience with patients, it might be OK, and your LVN GPA is good too. I also applied to Sac campus. My stat - General 3.6 & Science 3.7 Not so good. Got 2 years experience as MA. And 100 hours of volunteer (still working on it) currently working at the pediatric office. On the resume I just put start to end date. Without putting hours.

I was also considering phlebotomy too. I should consider either one. I actually found out yesterday. At least you still have a hope. Good luck!!

Oh my mistake, I haven't received a actual letter, but from the web "Your decision is ready". I wonder what do they mainly focus on. It would be nice if I get to know some feedback. Not sure if I should rewrite the essay.

I also got a denial letter. so I'm thinking to reapply it. And start preparing for TEAS test as well for other schools. My concern is that should I get some certificate like CNA? Will that help me on getting accepted to a school? cuz I don't have any volunteer experience. I only healthcare administrator experience for 2 years. What do you guys think? btw my general GPA is 3.61 and science GPA is 3.71
