APU LVN to BSN Spring 2021

Same here. I’ll go to any campus at this point. There are a lot of applicants this time around as many programs are not offering the program this coming semester due to the shortage of clinical sites. The board is asking that only 50% of clinicals be done virtually and the other be done in a hospital setting. That makes it difficult because no hospital wants students at this time. That’s the latest I’ve heard.

I was told we should expect to hear back within 4-5 weeks. We're at 3 weeks and the anticipation is killing me ?

I called and was told 6 to 8 weeks.

Patience y’all. If it’s ours, it will be ours. Don’t fret! Have faith. So here is another update I got from a current student on another thread. Apparently, they are doing away with the LVN to BSN program tittle. It will now be 2+2 for all campuses. Hence, the reason why were able to select campuses of choice as they will be offering it on all 3 campuses. That doesn’t mean there will be more spots, it simply means the tittle will change. Not sure if LVN’s will get priority or not. I’m hoping our experience and licensure will be taken into account. But let’s not lose hope.

My friend got accepted already. However she was rolled over from last term. She’s also not sure she’s going to go due to her financial situation.

Ooh OK . I hope your friend will continue going to the program. Did they start calling students already?

I think only the ones that are being rolled over from other terms. She’s the only one that I know that they’ve called.
