APU LVN to BSN fall 2016

Published

Hello there,

Just curious to know if anyone has applied to the LVN to BSN program at Azusa Pacific University for fall 2016?

How was the competency exam

Hey there! Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I had to take a competency exam! It was really easy, basic LVN skills, vital signs and med passing.

@nursecode are you able to work being in the program?

Hi all,

I have recently applied to APU for the the May 2017 cohort. I have been waiting for two years to try and bridge into a community college for my RN with no avail. I would be absolutely honored to be a part of the BSN program at Azusa. I got a call two days ago for an interview mid month. Is this a good sign that I have a descent shot at getting in?...and if so, those of you that have interviewed, any advice would be awesome!!!! Thanks!

Hi! I also applied for May 2017 Cohort and also have an interview mid month. They told me there's an open ended questions to answer. Nothing med surge or any form of research. Don't know what kind of wuestions they're gonna ask. And do we have to take a competency exam?

Hello! For the LVN to BSN program at apu...what are the days/hrs class schedule for each term? Trying to get an idea of what my day's would look like to pre-schedule work.

Praying I get in for Spring 2018 :)

Those of you, who have started the program. Are you able to work. Since the program is 5 semester's instead of 6?

Sorry I have not responded. I finally graduated this May. The program is now 6 semesters again instead of 5 semesters. Many of us worked during the program but it was definitely hard. Days and times change every semester!
