APU ELM Spring 2015

So the deadline for Azusa Pacific's ELM program is just a couple days away!

Any other fellow applicants out there? I was wondering if the March 1st deadline is strictly for a Spring 2015 start date, or if there's any possibility of an earlier start? January of next year just seems soooo far away.

Of course , dont give up :) it is really strange that it happened to me, This time i was told there was no reason that I should have been rejected... but honestly what i learned was- god does everything for a reason in his own timing... I am accepted to the inland empire. I have a double bachelors in liberal arts and psychology. My pre reqs GPA is 4.0 and my over all gpa approximately is 3.65-3.7. I have been working since a sophomore in college. My work experience ranges from mentors assistant, business world, restaurant, lots of community service, church involvement, hospital volunteer and experience shadowing a psychiatrist. I hope that helps! is your interest in family nurse practitioner or a different specialty?

did you get on a waitlist to possible start a semester earlier? you were saying something earlier in a post?

I was told that I was on the wait list for Fall 2014 but I am not holding my breathe :/ I wish I had applied for the Fall in the first place, but I figured that starting later would mean saving more $$$...either way I am just glad that I know I am in :)

Oh ok, I see. Im in the same boat, Excited to just start! What is your focus with the ELM program, Family? i just created the facebook. it seems fake since there is nothing on it as of yet..lol... my name is sim kaur on it add me :)

Congrats to everyone who got accepted!

I applied for the San Diego location and got a rejection letter in the mail today. Has anyone else been rejected previously and got accepted the second time around? Any advice is appreciated!

I still have not heard yes or no... no mail, no email... I am assuming this means rejection, and I will be reapplying for Summer 2015 if I don't get accepted.

@rizzo - did you ever get an email for Inland Empire?

Congrats to everyone who got accepted! Do you all know the difference between the main Azusa campus, Inland Empire Campus, and the San Diego campus ? How are the curriculums different ? Is one campus better than the other ?

@amlehtojnaral...never received the email that everyone else spoke of...don't lose hope until you receive the letter. Maybe call tomorrow morning and see if anyone can give you any info. over the phone? I know how hard it is to wait!!

@1stgrace...I am assuming that the curriculum is the same since all three locations are accredited together. The main difference will be the instructors and the clinical locations. I have heard good things about the program overall....just really tough (as I am sure all nursing programs are) :) Did you get a letter today?? :)
