So the deadline for Azusa Pacific's ELM program is just a couple days away!
Any other fellow applicants out there? I was wondering if the March 1st deadline is strictly for a Spring 2015 start date, or if there's any possibility of an earlier start? January of next year just seems soooo far away.
@slasher, no mine is Phyllis. I did get 2 emails, one on 3/4/14 and then one today. The one on 3/4/14 was in response to my application being submitted and it said:
"Because of your recent interaction with Azusa Pacific University (APU), we have started setting up an APU Network Account for you. However, before you can access home.apu.edu and other account related resources you first need to complete your activation by following the link below."
Then after, I set up the account, it sends me another email giving me a network ID and saying I can log in now. Then today, I got what I assume is the same one you got! Saying they've updated my status as a graduate affiliate.
@rizzo- no I haven't talked to anybody today... That is just what the man said to me at the end of my interview. We would get an email and a letter. Part of me is like... Why did I bother with the interview? I am a little bummed, but surely if we are supposed to attend APU then, we will. But those emails do sound a bit elusive!
I (surprisingly) received a phone call today from the Inland Empire campus asking if I would be interested in starting this summer or fall (I applied for Spring 2015). For various reasons this summer (and possibly fall) will not work out for me, but I was told that I would have a spot for the Spring 2015 cohort!!! I was told that the committee will not meet until the end of April, but I should expect to receive a letter soon stating my acceptance! So relieved! I think the only reason that I received the phone call is because I am done with all of my prerequisites except for Lifespan, and am currently taking that class now. So although acceptance status will not truly be determined until the end of April for Spring 2015, if you are done with prerequisites and are competitive enough you might be contacted sooner (to start in an earlier term). Good luck to everyone!!
Obviously, it is not about the email since they already told you that you are in!
Oh rizzo! you're already in? I don't think you have much to worry about then!
I am confused because it says my application was for summer 2015, when I applied for Spring 2015. :\ Not sure what is going on there. I contacted another cohort from last semester's ELM class and he told me he never had the email that we have so he isn't sure what it is.
Oh my goodness!! I emailed someone from the school about an hour ago and he just responded saying that I was accepted into the Inland Empire campus!!!!! He said I should have received an email and to check my junk email....I still don't see the email but I am glad that I emailed him!! I couldn't imagine this anxiety through the weekend into next week!! :)

I had a username and all that too, I had to create one to pay for the application fee. When 1stgrace posted about getting the email a few pages back, I replied thinking it was THAT account because I had that as well. Then today I get this second email and now I am baffled. My counselor never called me back either and she's probably gone for the day. Darn.
