APU ELM MSN Summer 2023

Hi yall! I didn't see a thread for Summer 2023, so I decided to make one! Looking forward to connecting with you all. 

 

PS: If accepted is anyone moving towards campus? 

It looks like most people are starting to get interviews scheduled. Best of luck to everyone who is already doing their interviews as well! I'm sure everyone will do great. However, It seems each campus is slightly different. I received an email on Thursday that informed me I was selected for an interview and to email my availability back to the advisor who sent the email. I did this on Friday morning as I work later at night. And I haven't heard anything back yet. So IDK what's going on besides me stressing out, LOL.

Does this program lead to a NP or is it just a MSN in nursing?

it leads to an NP ? rumor has it they wanna make it a pathway to your DNP which is amazing!

When will this be happening? How long is the program? I heard by 2025, most programs will be DNP.

Has anyone received interview invitations for the IE campus? My admissions rep said that admission decisions would be made in early March, so I'm wondering when they will be conducting the interviews.

I applied to the IE campus and received an email about an interview invitation today! I don't know how long they are running interviews though. The slots available to me were already taken soooo I just have to wait around until more are posted. ?

Congrats! Goodluck with your interview process!! Are they conducted over zoom or are they in person?

I'm so glad you posted this. I was beginning to think I was denied. But, I haven't heard anything yet either. I was told Mid February for interviews. Fingers crossed!

One more question, did you get the email from your admission advisor directly, or from the APU graduate email?

When I went to pick my slot, there were only a few available but that could just have been for the two weeks I looked at. 
 

At the end of my interview they said that all the directors are going to meet starting March 1 to make decisions and that we should know the second or third week of March.

I got the email from the IE Program Manager. And then a follow up with the link from the person interviewing me.
