Hi!

I haven't submitted my application yet. I am finishing my last prerequisite. What campus are you guys applying too? I am applying to the Inland Empire campus so won't need to relocate.

Wish y'all the best!

Is it too late to submit? Is anyone submitting for Fall?

No! The deadline is January 15th. I am submitting for Summer 2023!

Hi all! My name is Kyle and I am applying to APU ELM Summer 2023 session. I just wanted to introduce myself and let you all know where I am in the application process. My enrollment advisor contacted me about a week ago and asked me if I wanted to, and could submit everything for the Summer session no later than yesterday, 1/17. I was surprised by this because I am currently taking my last prerequisite course and won't finish until the end of the month, just missing the 1/15 deadline by a couple of weeks. Because of the deadline date, and where I am in my class, I assumed that I would be applying for fall/Winter 2023. However, my advisor informed me that this was a none issue at the moment and that the ELM program is considering people for the Summer session so long as they will complete their prerequisites prior to the Summer start date. Needless to say, I was super excited to hear this and submitted everything needed to complete my application. Now all need to do is pass this last prerequisite with a solid grade, LOL.

I also asked my advisor on a timeline for when we might expect invitations for interviews if we are considered and she said to anticipate a 4-6 week wait time (from yesterday) for those invitations. So like mid to end of February....

best of luck to you all and God willing we will all be accepted for the Summer session??

Correction from my last post. My Advisor emailed me today and told me anticipate an interviews sent out by the end of January or early February.

That's awesome! I attended an information session a couple of weeks ago and they had mentioned they extended the deadline for the prereqs! Good luck to you!

I submitted my application on 1/15 ? Now it's just the waiting game! What campus did you apply to? I applied to the Inland Empire campus.

Thank you. And best of luck to you as well! The waiting game is the hardest part. I check my email randomly in hopes that something comes through even though I know it's not going to happen for weeks, LOL.
I applied to the San Diego campus, as that is home for me ?

Hi everyone! I had applied for Spring 2023 but was given the option to be waitlisted for SP23 or accept Summer 2023!

Saying that I underwent the interview process already! If anyone would like tips feel free to email me! lugoberen @ gmail.

ALSO! I applied to the Inland Empire but am from LA! Not sure if to commute or get a place over there.

I didn't have a super amazing GPA but I can say that experience is what matters most (what you learned from it). So even if you just have 1 thing, make sure you're able to use that to your full benefit.

Thank you!

My non-science GPA was 3.57 and my science GPA was 3.47.

I have a BS in Health Science. Worked for a non-profit right after college for 1 year as a program coordinator (promoted physical activity and nutrition to K-12). I then was a Clinical Research Coordinator for another year where we studied Covid-19 antibodies. Followed by my current job as an HIV Prevention Specialist at a FQHC.

I had a FEW hours of volunteering at a hospital but I tried to focus my experience on helping the community (rather than just patients)
