APU ELM Fall 2022

Hi everyone! 

I just submitted my application for the Fall 2022 program. I thought this would be a great way to convene and see where everyone is at in process as well as share helpful tips for interviews.

Our application was due in October and interviews were in November. They told us we would get a response by or before Christmas. I think I received my acceptance 10 days prior to Christmas.

I applied by October 1 and heard back October 29! Super fast turn around. I’m currently in their 2+2 program which includes the LVN to BSN route students.

Wow that was super fast! I heard back 1 month and 8 days after last year but with a denial letter. So I’m surprised this time around that it’s taking longer.

I have committed and will be attending this Fall! I haven't seen a facebook group or anything for our cohort though. Will you be attending the uniform fitting?

Yay! I’m glad and no problem!  Yes I’ll be there! ? Hopefully we’ll get to meet each other. I haven’t seen an FB group or any other group chat created as well.

Congrats..by any chance .. for the Fall IE have you received any info for any updated meetings..

Thank you! I haven't received anything yet (which makes me nervous haha). (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) said additional information will be sent out in the next couple weeks, if not earlier. 

 

Also, w/ respect to the Covid booster shot.. Do you know if we need both booster shots or if one will suffice?

Not sure about the 2nd booster, but I completed it because I didn't want surprises down the line..but there is a tab after you sign into your apu home page  that has the vaccines needed..I'm starting to collect the paperwork now..

Same ~ I don't want to deal w/ ANY last minute surprises haha! I emailed the department about influenza shot today. This doesn't seem possible until mid-to-end semester. 

Do you happen to have the date for registration of fall classes? I only have the anticipated information for Spring.
