I thought I'd get this thread started :)

I'm in the process of applying to APU and was wondering how everyone is doing with their applications.

Has anyone gone through the advising session yet?

I juts apply for APU spring semester 2016. Any advise for the interview/advising session? Did any of you have to write a prompt? If so what was the topics?

Hi all! I replied to a different thread yesterday but this one looks a lot more active. I've been accepted for fall 2015 to the San Diego campus! Anyone else starting at the San Diego campus in the fall? Anyway I just thought I'd say hello :).

Hi dodi_awf, yeah I did. Don't stress over either! The writing sample was really easy and they told me they weren't even going to grade it. The reason they have you do it is just to make sure that you actually wrote your personal statement. I would tell you the actual prompt but I don't know what their policy is about sharing that kind of stuff and better safe than sorry, but honestly its nothing you would even need to prepare for!

The woman I interviewed with was really nice and made me feel really relaxed. She started off by asking if I had any questions about the program that she could answer, and then after that it was mostly looking over my transcripts and going over what classes/things I still needed to do. She also asked questions about time management skills etc.

My advice would just be to come prepared with any questions you might have about the program, but besides that just try to stay relaxed and I'm sure you'll do fine :).

Hi! I just got accepted in the Fall 2015, originally I was admitted in the Spring 2015. I wanted to see if anyone admitted to the Monrovia location for the term of Fall 2015 is looking for a roommate and/or have any housing advice! Anything will help!! I found out a week ago, so anything will help!!
