JazzieP and SoCalCNA - About how long did it take to receive the letter regarding the deposit? I've gotten the large envelope, but I haven't received the smaller one yet.

For those of you who have received the letter for your deposit, is it just the deposit that is needed to save our spot or is there any additional paperwork we have to fill out? My certified letter was sent to my apartment but I am going to be out of town for a few weeks. I emailed the school and they sent me the letter over email and I already sent in my deposit, but I want to make sure that I am not missing anything else. Any info would be appreciated!

@coycoy22 - I received the letter 3 days after the acceptance phone call.

@Nursetahaj - I only received info to send the deposit. No other paperwork was mentioned to send to secure my spot.

Congratulations to all of you girls that got accepted in. I didn't get an acceptance (phone, email, or letter) or rejection email, or letter yet. But I am pretty sure I am one of the rejects now. But I am slightly still hopeful.

i was wondering if you guys didn't mind sharing your stats:

what school you went to, major,

work exp, volunteer exp, leadership exp, undergrad gpa, prerequisite non-science gpa, science gpa?

How you think you did on your essay prompt?

i am trying to see where I went wrong with my application and why I wasn't chosen.

I know I barely made the pre-req requirement to be evaluated but my gpa was really high for pre-reqs in both areas. I am thinking it is also bc I am lacking leadership in my resume.

@Pursuitofhappinest You can always make an appointment to speak with the Director of the program that you'd like to get into and see how to make your application more competitive. Do you have experience in a hospital or medical setting? That's a big one.

@jazziep . I have a year of volunteer experience in a hospital ER and about a year of being a CCE. and 3 years of full time work experience in corporate. Thanks I wil see about it.

Hi everyone!

Just joined this thread, and wanted to share that I have also been accepted in to the Fall 2015 cohort at the IE campus! A big congratulations to everyone on your recent acceptance as well!! It was probably the best Christmas present I could've asked for, and cannot wait to meet everyone in the fall!
