Hello!
I thought I'd get this thread started :)
I'm in the process of applying to APU and was wondering how everyone is doing with their applications.
Has anyone gone through the advising session yet?

Hi!
I'm applying to APU's ELM program too in the Fall. I'm super nervous. I have my interview in a month. Has anyone else gotten an interview or gone through it yet?

Hey! I'm applying for fall too! I haven't submitted my app yet but I plan to in the next day or so. Do they set up the advising session after you submit the app??
xochrlstinaxo: Don't be nervous. Things will turn out as they should. I have my interview next month as well. I hope it goes well for us! Which concentration are you applying for?
Polo goalie: Yes, after I submitted my app, they emailed me a few weeks later with a couple options for an advising appointment.

Hey!
So I applied for the July 2014 deadline and was accepted into Fall 2015 cohort. If you guys have any questions regarding the application process I can let you know! Goodluck to everyone!
Congratulations, alngo!
I hope I'll be chosen to join your cohort. You must be very excited. Any suggestions you can give us for the advising session?
I'm applying for the PNP concentration.. thinking of switching to FNP but not sure yet or how that would work with the school. What about you?
@socalcna They actually called me to schedule my interview. What day did you get?
I've chosen FNP :) And my interview is the 5th! Wish me luck.
Oh wow that's so soon! Good luck!!!! I'm sure you'll be fine :)
When did you submit your application?
Thanks! I submitted the last week of September.
I would love to help you, but I actually didn't go through an advising session. And to be honest, I didn't go through the regular interview process like most people were describing, and I'm not sure exactly why.
I had one phone interview and I have yet to have an advising session. I'm assuming because the term is so far out they haven't had the sessions set up yet.
In terms of the phone interview, it was very casual and easy going. My interviewer was very nice and she asked questions such as "how does nursing fit into your lifestyle" and "why nursing and how has it impacted your life?"

There's got to be more than 4 applicants to the program for Fall 2015. I wonder where everyone is!
