APU 2+2 BSN program Summer 2023 Admissions

Published

Hello Everyone,

I don't see a thread for the 2023 application for APU. I submitted my application with a 3.78 cumulative GPA and a 3.79 science GPA. Has anyone applied before? This is my first time applying for high desert region. I am a bit nervous because I found another thread that said the essay being one page was imperative. Mine was almost two pages. We still have another month of waiting to find out but has anyone been here before and can share any advise?

Hello ! Has Anyone Received any notifications/updates for Monrovia Campus ??
Thank you ~

Hi Janelle,

I haven't heard anything except the orientation on the 10th

Hi Lilie !
Thank you so much for replying! I'm still waiting for my application decision/denial. But either way it's okay. I'm gonna retake some classes and reapply next application period. Congratulations and good luck to everyone starting !

Specializes in LVN.

Hey Janelle, I'm still awaiting a decision as well. If you don't mind me asking are you a LVN? I applied to the IE campus and High Desert. I'm seriously on a emotional roller coaster but trying to stay positive.

Hi Dlee,

Yes I am! I applied to Monrovia & IE campus. I emailed my admissions rep last week and he just told me that decisions are expected to come March or April. A bit vague, but I'm trying to stay positive as well. I've been checking my application status everyday.

Hi everyone,

I also got accepted. Do you guys know the overall cost of the program like including books and uniforms and additional fees.

Hi !

I found this on the website but I'm not sure how accurate it is.

Im a current APU student the program is about 60K you pay tuition at the end of every semester. FAFSA can be used as well as private loans. The scrubs are to be from REINA scrubs.

Hi Adriana,

Thank you for the information. I wanted to know if they make you take more GE classes. Like anything on top of the 72 units. I have about 66 units that I'm going to transfer.

APU is a Christian University so you will be taking biblical classes. a total of 3-4 depending on the units you turn in.

Ohh okay. Thank you for the answers Adriana!
