Hello, future RNs!

This is a thread for the APU 2+2 BSN program Spring 2022 admissions.

I'm finishing up my application for APU's LVN to BSN program. I wanted to start a thread for this topic and connect with others applying to APU by the October 1st, 2021 deadline.

um yes theyll go over that with you at orientation but if you want to buy some things now. you will need a stethescope, manual bp cuff, and a pen light

you will also be asker to get all white shoes. a lot of people bought the clove ones.

all classes are in person. The only things we do on zoom are the virtual IHuman clinical debreifs where we discuss our case for the week. Ihuman sucks I hope you guys get a clinical site 1st sester but its likely you will not have a clinical site 1st semester and also do IHuman.

I'm assuming they are morning classes and since it's a cohort model - are classes preselected for us?

I believe classes are preselected for us but it looks like they’re gonna walk us through how to register for the preselected classes.

yeah theyre preselected and you will register after orientation. All nursing classes are morning classes. The other classes offered at APU like business and psych are afternoon and night.

I love that they’re morning classes. Can possibly work a part time swing shift if I want to.

Hi Matthew. Thank you so much for all your tips! I just found out yesterday I got accepted into the Monrovia campus. Do you have any tips for first semester students? Any tips for success?

I got an email today saying that cohorts are still being finalized! So there’s still a chance!
