Hello ! I'm considering applying for the UC Denver nursing program for Summer of 2014. I've finished all parts except the essay portion and the fee. However, I do live in Florida and I was curious about how strict the nursing school is about GPA and ect. I have a pre-req GPA of a 3.8 and an overall GPA of a 3.5. I'm finishing my last two classes for my AA this semester. I was also curious how you all like the University of Colorado? Thank you ! (:
Thanks, NoCoKate, for chiming in.! I was wondering when those would go out.
BOWESA, I would read the forum I linked above. It seems that GPA didn't seem entirely important as the essay but that is what I gathered from the thread.
Deadline isn't far from now! Very excited to see how everything is going to go down. Good luck, everyone!
Hello! Yes, that number sounds correct. An article I read mentioned that in June of 2013, 150 students were admitted into the UC Denver traditional pathway (30 in the accelerated pathway).
I can only assume the number of admitted students rose for 2014 (ever so slightly) as a result of the CON staggering the start date of the two pathways.

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to get a thread started for those applying for the Traditional BSN program starting Summer 2014. I've been following this thread:
https://allnurses.com/colorado-state-nursing/applying-uc-denver-828195.html
which gives out a ton of info and help.
I've just submitted my application and essay and just waiting for everything to update in the system.
Please share your fears, life/work experiences, GPAs, stories, etc. here.
Look forward to hearing from all of you potential students!
