Applying to Texas Tech, did anyone else?

Hey guys is there anyone who is applying right now or got accepted to the BSN program at Texas Tech? I am applying for the fall of 2009 and I would love to know what an average GPA they accept if anyone has a clue...any answers would be great, IM SO NERVOUS

okay... sorryyyyyyy it has taken so long to write back, Tech said not to worry about the fact it said it would take 4-6 weeks, that's just saying it takes 4-6 weeks to process everyone's applications & meaning it'll be 4-6 weeks until everyone finds out who was accepted & not. No worries, as long as you got everything in before the deadline! Good Luck girls! Hope we all get in.

Hey guys. I'm a junior in the program right now at TTUHSC. I believe the average gpa for my class was above a 3.7, but I know of someone that had a 3.6. Some extra things that may push you over is volunteer hours, good NET scores, and TTU for undergrad. A little hint if you get put on the waiting list (which half the class does so don't freak out) call the admissions people (Elsa Sullivan) and stay on her radar. Ask if there is anything you can do at that point (which there is not, but asking makes you look good) and just let her know how much you want to be in the program. I had a friend who got in because of this :) Hope to see yall around this summer!

Hi guys! I'm going to Tech in the fall. I'm changing majors so I'm taking two semesters of the pre-reqs before (hopefully!) starting the program at TTHSC next summer. I really love Tech, I've visited several times to see friends and even though I was on vacation as a guest, I wanted to have homework and be productive in that enviornment. How weird am I :/

But anyway, best of luck to everyone applying! I'm really excited and impatient to move it right now.

Mrs. Sullivan said April 9th is the date the letters will be sent out.. Has you heard anything else about the admission process? there weren't invterviews, were there? I'm going to DIIEEEEEE of stress!!

I received my acceptance email from Texas Tech BSN progarm today. I'm so happy to get in this summer's nursing program. I can't wait to meet my fellow Texas Tech nursing students.
