Applying to Texas Tech, did anyone else?

Hey guys is there anyone who is applying right now or got accepted to the BSN program at Texas Tech? I am applying for the fall of 2009 and I would love to know what an average GPA they accept if anyone has a clue...any answers would be great, IM SO NERVOUS

no you are able to submit the application but the references have to be sent in before the actual deadline because the program mails your actual application to TxTech. get them in asap!! good luck

Oh is this for the generic BSN program? I asked the department and they said that although there was a references tab on the application that it didn't apply to Techs program and none were needed. did you hear differently?

oh and i thought the deadline was february 26?..thats what it says on the website.

yea the deadline is the 26th. i just thought references were optional because you could submit them in for the application for the generic BSN, i hope they count

ok, I'm glad ya'll figured the deadline out, because back in November & December I was being told it opened January 1-February 15, but it did not even open until January 15. weird! Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt to send in references anyway.

Sorry but I can't help...I didn't apply to Tech...I wanted to go to a good school...

just kidding...best of luck getting in but I hope that ya'll are applying to some backup schools just in case.

quick question.... under the COURSEWORK section of the application, are you supposed to post every semester for each school, and every class you took that semester?!?! I'm confused.

yes post everything from every school in every semester. i know it takes so much time and its confusing. copy it just like your transcript right now. that is my understanding

Well I Just submitted this past monday (Feb 16th) not realizing that WTNEC actually mails the applications to Tech. I thought it was automatic and that Tech could maybe view it online? Anways now I am freaking out b/c WTNEC website says that it takes 4-6 weeks to mail them! That is ridiculous! We barely even have 6 weeks to complete the application!

I submitted mine on Monday as well.. I'm going to call Mrs. Sullivan at Tech in the morning & figure out this whole 4-6 week thing. I wondered the same thing when I submitted mine, but that just doesn't make sense since the deadline is the 28th? So, I will post tomorrow & let you know what she says.
