Applying for registration to Canada personally or with an agency?

Published

Hello everyone! I have already submitted my application to CRNBC last week and also requested my school, hospital and the PRC to fill out the forms... Just this afternoon, I received a message from an agency which I applied through online that I am scheduled for an interview next week. They said, they have job orders for nurses going to Manitoba.

I am having a hard time deciding weather to submit myself for the interview and commit with the agency or shall I just wait for the assessment of my application by CRNBC.

Two things I am considering in applying with the agency.. one is finding an employer from Canada and two is the processing of my application...On the other hand, I'm a bit worried weather or not, I can find an employer who will petition me to work in BC if ever I made myself eligible to take the CRNE.

Hope someone here can give their advice because I don't want to make a mistake and loose the opportunity.

If you make it good there, PM me. . . I'm thinking of Canada as well. I'm here in the US right now but my other option is Canada.

You could always delay signing with an agency until you know if you are made eligible or not and if yes contact hospitals first regarding helping you move to Canada

i'd suggest that you continue to go to the interview with the agency first. see what happens, what they offer, benefits - then decide. you might regret some things in the future like what could have happened if i went to the interview.

you won't lose anything anyway if you go and interview.

good luck
